A cruise on the Nile River is one of the most thrilling events in Egypt. In fact, my favorite part of the trip. It happens in the South, from Luxor to Aswan, and vice versa.
We enjoy shows of typical dances during the navigation along the enigmatic river and appreciate several meals while being constantly tempted by the pool and the bar. But unique experiences also happen off the ship when it docks in certain cities. These are opportunities for people going out with their tour guides to visit temples in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, and other places.
Consequently, tourists with no opportunity to add a cruise to their travel plan face frustration. How to visit Egypt without at least one experience on the Nile?
To those people, I suggest a dinner cruise on the Nile River while they’re still in Cairo.
The event lasts for almost two hours, only navigating in the Cairo zone. While eating and drinking, tourists enjoy shows of typical dances.

Well, you are living an experience on the Nile.
That’s interesting, Damas. So, how can I book a table?
Ask your travel operator or your tour guide, and they will organize the team in Cairo. They drive you to the boat and later back to the hotel.
Usually, customers pay for the meal when the event ends, like in any restaurant. Or the price charged by the travel agent or the tour guide may include the food, with drinks paid separately.
A fresh idea here, Damas. I will ask my travel agent to add the regular cruise on the Nile River to my itinerary. The problem is, now you make me wish to be part of a dinner like that in Cairo. Is it worth it? I mean, perhaps it’s too much to book the regular cruise in the South of the country and the dinner cruise in Cairo.
Why not? A second adventure on the Nile River can’t be too much, and, who knows, even a third one. 😉 After all, Egypt is fascinating, always ready to amaze us more.
I hope you live this unforgettable adventure with all the good Egyptian gods blessing your night.
Have a nice dinner.
